Changes are Coming

Above is a video called Changes are Coming. After watching this video, my first impressions are that it means, we should change our ways in order to make a better future. Times are changing, money is tight, foreclosures are on the rise and many more economic crisises are happening. But if we want to succeed and not go back to what obviously hasn't worked in the past then we should change the way we do things in the future.

Everyone from the government to the media should change their ways in order for us to move forward. Watch the movie and see what you think it's message is. What are your impressions of it?   1. Hmmm not sure what to make of it on a first look. That everyone is a clown? I mean the reference to Rome is a little scary since Rome fell.

  3. I see the comparison of us to Rome to mean just as Rome fell so shall we.

    Rome fell because she moved away from her true self. She became a nation full of open inequity and sin. This is currently taking place in America.

    We move further and further away everyday from the the principles that our founding fathers set into place.

    We are becoming a nation that does not have a clear agenda and nothing to cling to. We were founded as a Christian nation and our Constitution was written to protect that. But, now we ignore that.

    We have become so politically correct that we don;t know which way to turn. We are swiftly becoming a nation built on a mound of sand instead of a rock.

    Also I think the use of clowns is completely appropriate. Because we have been seen as a huge joke all over the globe now for the last decade if not longer.

    The media and our politicians all have such biased and dirty hands. Most are clowns and hypocrites.

    This is the message that i get from the video. And I believe it is dead on correct. We have got to come together as one again and make change happen.

    And that change has to start at home with each individual. We are going to have to learn to live within our means and not with a pocketful of credit cards. We need to learn that a family of 2 don't need a 5 thousand square foot house with a swimming pool. We are going to have to move away from our big gas guzzling automobiles. Oh I could go on and on.

    But my goodness I won't bore you any longer from my soap box.

  4. I had a great response...but Shinade stole my wind! :) I think her view is spot on. I too see the comparison between America and the fall of the Roman Empire. We have become accustomed to our excesses and have neglected the basics of our democracy.
