Spongeables Review & Giveaway - ENDED

I received a product called Spongeables to review & giveaway.

Product Description:

Spongeables® Lavender Nectar provides a luxurious, tension-relieving way to recover from a bad night’s sleep, get a head start on the most hectic day – or recover one’s equilibrium after a long one. A patented infusion process provides a guaranteed number of uses.  Lavish helpings of rich Olive Oil keep skin soft and restore supple, youthful resilience.

And then there’s the gentle massage texture that turns from lightly exfoliating to soft and silky when you give it a squeeze…stress and muscle aches disappear down the drain, while the body complexion is buffed to a healthy glow.

My Take on the Product:

I got a the Spongeables in a 20 + uses (3.5 oz unit) and a 5 + use travel size (1.2 oz). These are great for the shower! Instead of shower gel and a scrunchie, the Spongeables are an all in one unit. Once you use it up - it's gone, no mess.

And they really lather up and they smell great too! My daughter really likes it too. We recently visited her Grandmother for a few days, and I let her take the travel size one with her. It really came in handy to bring with us! She likes how one side is soft and and the other is exfoliating.

Buy it: The Spongeables two pack I described  can be purchased on their website for $12.99

Win it: One lucky reader will receive a Spongeables two pack as described above.

Do Tell Family Relationship Game Review & Giveaway - ENDED!

Hi Guys! I have another great review & giveaway for you. I wanted to get this up last week, but I've been away for a few days. So I really want to share this game I received awhile ago.

The game is called "Do Tell."  Here is a brief Product Description:

Helps kids, parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts and/or uncles open up to each other
Do Tell® Family takes two to eight players on a wildly imaginative, laugh-out-loud, uniquely imaginative and deceptively thought-provoking, journey
Playing time approximately 45 minutes
Simple to play. For ages 8 to 88!
My Take on the Product:

When I received this game, my daughter wanted to play it right away. And I wasn't sure how complicated it would be. But my daughter set it all up & read how to play and she is 11 and figured it out! So it is really easy to figure out.

This is a really fun game, that we have been playing for a little over a week. My daughter and I have played it a bunch. And one night we even got my son to play. And another night my husband played. It is really fun and you basically just roll the dice, land on a space and pick a card corresponding to that. The cards are mostly questions or you have to do what the card says. There are "Do" Cards, Tell, Risk and Wild cards.

Here's an example of a "Do" Card:  it said something like Pretend you are a bull charging a red cape. Here is my daughter performing that card:

(c) stay at home mom

I would really recommend this game, it's great for families and you can learn some things about each other, and it's fun too. We really got laughing on some of the "Do" Cards.

Picture of my daughter playing game:

Costume SuperCenter.com Review

I have another great review for you guys. It's from the company Costume SuperCenter.com. I know what you're thinking - costumes in April? Well they actually have some really cute Easter costumes on the site. And I'm sure you can always find a reason to wear a costume for something, right?

When I was asked to do a reveiw for Costume Super Center. I let my daughter pick one out. We looked in the costumes for kids section and she debated among some of the costumes. Then she found the superhero costume section.

What she ended up with is Supergirl!

Here is product info for Supergirl Childrens Costume:

Supergirl is Truth, Justice and the American Way all wrapped up in a kicky skirt, high top boots and crime fighting attitude. Superman's cousin Kara never looked so cute as she will when your daughter dons this Supergirl Children's Costume. It's sleek, shiny and absolutely lovely. The costume consists of a red dress and attached cape. The dress sports the super "s" insignia that Supergirl shares with Superman. There are also red boot covers with gold trim and a gold cape as well. You can add a blond or red haired wig and a pair of red boots to complete the entire look. This costume is a must for Halloween, where she can protect trick or treaters on their rounds. It is also perfect for school favorite character dress up days, a themed birthday party or for when she just wants to play dress up and fight crime at home.

Here is my daughter rocking the Supergirl costume!

(c) stay at home mom

She will save this for Halloween, but I'm sure she will want to dress up and play around in it. Like I mentioned before she is getting into drama & acting, so she loves to dress up and use her imagination!

The costume is really quality made and my daughter and I are both really happy with it. Visit Costume SuperCenter.com for all the great costumes they have to offer. Also check them out on Facebook!

Dermstore: Personal Microderm Review

Hey guys I have a product to share with you. I got a Personal Microderm as shown above to review. It was provided to me by DermStore.

Product Information:

Personal Microderm is a convenient, easy to use, portable and personal microdermabrasion system helping you get younger looking skin without paying for high priced treatments. Available at DermStore with FREE shipping on all orders, it’s the perfect way to get gorgeous skin.

Using professional quality aluminum crystals, Personal Microderm produces optimal results. Each exfoliating disk features a different grit for three different intensities. Each smoothes the skin's texture, evens tone and diminishes wrinkles. This amazingly convenient treatment dramatically transforms your skin, working as an anti-aging treatment, as well as improving the overall look of your complexion. Best of all it’s perfect for any skin type!

My Take on the product:
I have had the Personal Microderm from DermStore going on 2 weeks now. Since it is recommended to only use at first every 5 to 6 days, I wanted to give this a try at least two times before my review.

The first thing I did before using it, was watch the DVD. It came with an instructional DVD, that was very helpful, and I recommend you watch that first.

Then next, as suggested I tested to see what kind of skin I had. I think I have somewhat sensitive skin, so I skimmed over my face with it - didn't need to hover to long over one spot. That is after you cleanse your face first.

After doing the treatments I noticed my skin really was soft and supple afterwards. It really rejuvenates your skin. It also gets off the dead skin cells and your skin really feels refreshed after!

Here is a before & after picture. I think it somewhat shows a difference in the way my skin looks:

before & after (left side of face)
Once you use the system - you use it once a week, then twice a month, then once a month, etc. I will continue to use as directed and hope it continues to give me results!

Buy It: Visit Dermstore to purchase the Personal Microderm  (a value of $179.99) with free shipping!

WW #147 "Head Shot"

My daughter was in a production of "The Wizard of Oz" last week. The drama club made up of 4th and 5th graders at her school worked hard on this play for over 3 months. Last Thursday they put on the play at the High School. It was really good. And my daughter really enjoyed doing it.

Her main part was a "manicurist." You know the scene where they spiffy Dorothy, lion, etc up before they meet the Wizard? She also got to be a Munchkin and a Citizen of Emerald City.

I didn't really get any pictures because - was to hard to get during the play. But they also video taped it, and I'll be getting a copy of that.

Here is a "head shot" of her though. They took shots of the kids and lined up the walls with them, as you went into the auditorium.

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of FRESCHETTA® for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Hey guys! I want to share with you the awesome lunch I just had! I had a new FRESCHETTA® By the Slice. And I want to tell you guys about it, and offer you a chance to win some for yourself!

  1. BBQ Recipe Chicken
  2. Vegetable Medley
  3. Chicken, Spinach & Mushroom

I went to the store with my free coupon I received and decided to get the Vegetable Medley. I was really happy on how easy it was to make. I just popped it in the microwave according to the directions and within minutes I had a delicious slice of pizza. Here's a picture of my Vegetable Medley:

Another thing I was thinking was great about this is that, sometimes you want pizza, but you don't want to have to cook a whole one, you just want one slice. Voda Swim Envy Push Up Swimsuit Review & Giveaway! - ENDED

I was able to receive a swimsuit from Voda to review & giveaway.

Product Description
Voda Swim’s Envy Push Up Bikinis are designed to visually increase bust size by one to two cup sizes. In addition, that patent-pending Envy Push Up pad retains less than a tablespoon of water, helping the tops to retain their extraordinary fit, even when wet.

My Take on The Product:

Truthfully, I am at an age where I am past any bikini wearing. After two kids that is just not in my future. So when I was asked to do a review I went to the Voda website to see what other choices their were for swimwear.

I decided to go with this Envy Push Up Tropic Flower Tankini Swimsuit pictured below:
You have your choice of bottoms too so I went with the Dark Chocolate High Hipster:

When I received it in the mail, I went to my bedroom to try it on, everyone was dying to see me in it. I was sort of self-conscious  of letting them see. But my husband and daughter really liked it and said I looked great in it! This push up swimsuit might just give me the confidence I need this summer at the beach!

Of course, maybe you're not like me and have a terrific body and really want to flaunt it: then you may want to choose one of the bikinis instead!

I Want To Stay at the Hilton Hotel!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Hiltons of Branson for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I'm pretty sure you all have heard of "The Village People."  You know the one's who sing "YMCA."  I love that song, that brings back a lot of different memories for me. I would love to see that group perform.

Well I just found out that on May 13th they are coming to Branson, Missouri.  The Village People along with other 70's icons Maxine Nightingale and Janice-Marie will be performing at The Branson Tri-Lakes center. Nearby is the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel and the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing which after your night at the performance you could go stay at these hotels.

In fact the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing is having a great package to go along with this show. After you've danced the night away to some of your favorite songs like, "YMCA," In The Navy," "Macho Man," or "Boogie Ooigie Ooigie," you can head back over to the hotel. Packages are starting at only $219 per person, and includes two 70's Supershow tickets and one-night stay at the beautiful Hilton Promenade. There you will enjoy your comfortable room which is conveniently located. You can also enjoy a plush Hilton Serenity collection bed, which includes a pillowed topped mattress, down comforter and luxurious 250 thread count triple sheets.

Also while in Branson you can have fun at a lot of other attractions there, such as fine dining, shopping, and museums. But wouldn't you want to see this 70's Supershow? Afterwards the performers will stay to sign autographs and take pictures with the fans. What's your favorite 70's song? YMCA!

WW #145 "April Fool's Snowman"

About 3 or 4 more months until I move from New Hampshire to Virginia. I have lived in either Massachusetts or New Hampshire all my life so Virginia will be different.

But I checked the weather down there and while we will barely be in the 50's here they could be in the 80's! I think I'm going to like Virginia.

Only in New England, April Fool's Day got about 6 inches of snow! Here's a couple of pictures:

Monkey T-Shirt Review

I received a really cool "Monkey T-shirt" the other day to review. It is from a company called TShirtPrinting.net

Some info about TShirtPrinting.net  (taken from their website):

Welcome to TShirtPrinting.net, your number one destination for screen printing your personalised T shirts, hooded tops, sweatshirts and workwear.

  • Highly competitive pricing
  • Huge selection of garments and colours
  • High Quality Silk Screen Printing
  • Quantities from 12 to 100,000
  • Fast turnaround times

My take on product:

I'm actually wearing my Monkey T-shirt right now. I got the grey t-shirt with the pink monkey on it. It is actually just the company's mascot t-shirt. They specialize in custom t-shirt printing so visit their website for more information.

The t-shirt is really comfortable and cute too! I think this will make a great work-out t-shirt. A suggestion though when ordering. The t-shirts actually run on the large size. When I ordered they told me to actually get a  smaller size then I would. I ordered the medium and it really is more like a large!

Buy it: Check out TShirtPrinting.net  to make your purchases & for more info!
