Hair Flairs Review

I received some Hair Flairs to review.

Product Description
Hair Flairs are a tie-in glitter strand. Made from durable polyester, it simply ties into hair. You can wash, blow-dry, flat-iron with Hair Flairs in your hair. Trina Marr was interviewed on the Oprah Winfrey show on Jan 28th and was wearing Sparkle Gold Hair Flairs. Oprah loved them! Now you can try them too.

My Take on the Product:
You may recall I had done a review & giveaway of this product in the past. Well I wanted to get some more of the Hair Flairs because my daughter really likes them!

I received them in blue and in kaleidescope colors. Also handy was a how-to DVD and some written instructions. I have put them in my daughter's hair before. But watching the DVD on how to do it again, really helped. The trick I think is to get the knot as close to the scalp as possible -then they stay in better.

These are really a fun accessory for anyone who wants to add some flair to their hair!

Check out the Hair Flairs website. And also the Hair Flairs Facebook Page!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. More & Different News

Hey guys! Things here are crazy lately. Another thing I haven't shared with you guys is that I am going to be moving. We found out right before Christmas that the company my husband works for is relocating to probably Virginia.

This will be a big change for us. We have lived in New England all our lives so there is a lot that is going to go into this. Maybe I will write more about this as I go along.

One thing I think will happen is we will rent a house instead of buying one. I hope I can rent one that is more up to date then my house now. My house is so old, it might be nice to get one with an updated kitchen. Maybe one even with some modern bar stools in it. What do you think? Wouldn't  something like this look nice to have:

Thanks Everyone!

I really appreciate the kind comments on my last post. And I will try to visit visit everyone who commented on that post and on a few others in the past few days.

I thought I would be busy this week with the services for my Mother-in-law. But that is actually not going to be the case. You see, one of my sister-in-laws decided to go on a cruise. My MIL went into the hospital last Tuesday, which is another thing I'm upset about, no one bothered to let my husband know until Saturday! Well my SIL decided to go on a cruise to Mexico, even though her 86 yr old mother was sick in the hospital. Well then my MIL passed away Sat. night, and the SIL can't be bothered to get off the damn cruise when her mother has died!

I am so angry about this it isn't even funny. Now everyone has to delay the wake and everything until next Tuesday! A week and a half after she has passed away! I have never in all my life heard of such a thing. And I am so mad! I really have the lowest opinion ever of said SIL!

So this week, obviously we are still very sad, but I guess we'll have to put our mourning on hold until next Tuesday. This is absolutely ridiculous! So I will be around to post a few things this week after all. Thanks- I always feel weird posting stuff like this - but had to get some of it off my chest. I will try to feel peace now - like the picture above :)

Sad Time

Some sad news. My wonderful mother-in-law passed away Saturday night. She was eighty-six and was in pretty good health up until the past year.

She has four children who love her very much and 3 grandchildren. She was a super nice lady and will be missed very much. There will be a wake & a service sometime this week. So forgive me if I get a little behind here. I will try to post some things as soon as I can. (at least one giveaway - I have to post and 1 review) And I will try to return comments as soon as I can.

Thanks.

Economy & Business

I've talked in the past about my sister-in-laws business. If you don't recall - she had started originally an "An Antique" shop. But as she has gone along, she has re-thought the design of her shop.

The economy has a lot to do with it - in my opinion anyway. For example, there was a shop right in the same plaza, but sometime before Thanksgiving it went out of business. That is sad, but on the other hand it could help out my sister-in-law. That is because when she first opened up her and the owner of the other shop made an agreement. And that was to not sell similar items.

But now my SIL is able to sell items she couldn't before. Which includes jewelry. So now instead of just being an antique shop, her business has expanded. So she has really become somewhat of a "consignment shop." Last time I was visiting her I saw that she was selling someone's handmade jewelry. It was very nice and she should really think about getting a glass retail display case. This could really help her sell some more jewelry and display it in a really nice way.

So on one hand the economy can hurt your business or I feel it can help you too. What do you think?
