Summertime At Chili's and a #CoronaRita!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Chili’s Grill & Bar for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Hey guys! I am getting stoked that summertime is coming up! Oh Yea! I really love summer. Don't you? One thing that is fun is Cinco De Mayo.

I would really love to go celebrate it at Chili's Restaurant. Doesn't that sound like a lot of fun? I also was thinking about doing a girls night out. I have a new friend who has wanted me to do that. So that may be fun.

We could go to Chili's and try something different. I was just looking over their menu. I love chicken at a restaruant. And the Crispy Honey-Chipotle Chicken Crispers on the Chili's menu looks so delicious. I would love to have that.  What would go really nice with that too, is the CoronaRita at Chili's

Here is a picture of one:

CoronaRita sm.jpg

Doesn't that look awesome? I definately want to plan a trip to Chili's soon. Weather it be for Cinco de Mayo or girls night out, or maybe both! I'm sure we could have fun celebrating at Chilis with anything on the menu and I know my friend would love to try the CoronaRita at Chili's also. What do you like on the Chili's menu?  And would you want to try a CoronaRita at Chili's?  Let me know in the comments!

P.S. I was just actually talking to my new girlfriend last night. And she said she really want's to do a girls night out really soon. So I think we might plan something. Maybe I'll suggest to her to go to Chili's. Now that I am looking at this CoronaRita drink, I really want one! And I'm pretty sure my friend would love it too. I can't wait to have our girls night out!

WW Love this Frog

Hey guys, I would share a picture of a spider I saw right outside on my porch, earlier this week. But I was so freaked out by it I could not get a picture of it. I am not kidding when I say it was the size of a tarantula. My husband was even freaked out.

Instead I will show you a picture of the cute little frog. That was also on my front stairs. Isn't he cute?

It's like a jungle around here! lol

TheMinefields Book Tour & Review

About the book:  Situated smack between the cigarette-and-martini days of Mad Men and the nihilism of House of Lies, Eisner paints a classic roman a clef in stinging detail.  Protagonist Sam Spiegel is the Golden Boy with the New York business world at his feet when he is called home to Philadelphia just as he has begun to make his mark. His father, Holocaust survivor Harry Spiegel, is ailing and it’s with reservations that Sam takes on the challenge to grow his father’s firm, Spiegel Communications, into national prominence. The complex themes of the father-and-son relationship, like those found in the works of Chaim Potok and Mario Puzo, are brought vividly to life as Sam and Harry battle over the future of the family legacy.

My  thoughts:

I love the show Mad Men, so when I was asked to review this book I was really excited. This book doesn't disappoint either. I really liked the character developments in this book. And the Ad agency setting is really intriguing and lets you see the inner workings of one.

I would recommend this book to any one who would like to read about a family business and legacy.

“Mr. Spiegel, I know you’re very uncomfortable. I’m going to give you some morphine that will help you sleep. Within a few minutes, I promise you, sir, you’ll feel better. Scout’s honor.” Dad patted the doctor’s hand.

Above is an excerpt from the book. I am participating in a blog tour of this book. If you would like to follow along go to Book Tribe. There you can see other blogs who have participated, and if you start from the beginning, you will get the first chapter of the book!

DisclosureI received a sample of the product reviewed in this post.  My opinions remain my own.

Book Review: My Very Own Fairy Tale

I received a book recently to review. It is called "My Very Own Fairy Tale." And it is from the company I See Me Inc.

Info about book:

Personalized children's books make special gifts for girls. This enchanting storybook is a powerful way to show a child how absolutely unique and special she is. My Very Own Fairy Tale is a hardcover, professionally bound book that transports little girls into a magical garden where flower and berry fairies crown her as their fairy princess. Beautifully illustrated fairies bring letters one by one to spell out the child's name, while describing character traits that make the recipient alone the perfect princess. This award-winning storybook makes a keepsake for new baby girls through age 12!

As an added touch, this educational book includes the child's birth date, a printed dedication to the sender, and an illustrated Fairy Patch featuring 62 fairies with interesting facts about their flowers and berries. The book was written by Maia Haag, illustrated by Joyce Patti, and made in the USA.

My thoughts:

My daughter has always wanted a book with her name in it. And when I was asked to review this book, I knew she would really like it.

The book written by Maia Hagg is so cute! It takes the child's name and tells a story using different fairies. Also the illustrations by Joyce Pattie are so colorful & beautiful!

This book is really nice and any girl who loves fairies and likes to see her name in a book would love it! I know my daughter does. I want to read it with her again!

Walmart Fighting Hunger Together

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of The Walmart Foundation for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Inbox (16 messages, 1 unread).jpg

Hey everyone. I have some really important information to share with you. It is how you can Vote to fight spring hunger with Walmart

This is a really great initiative from Walmart. As you may or may not know, spring time  traditionally brings a decrease in charitable donations to food banks. So Walmart is going to help bridge this gap. Between April 9-30th Walmart is having a Facebook campaign.

Fans will be able to support communities in need. Research has found that communities that are in the most need for food usually have a high unemployment rate. So the 200 communities determined by the Department of Labor will be the one's you can vote for.

Walmart is going to donate a total of 2 million dollars! Isn't that so cool! Way to go Walmart. They will be donating to the 21 top communities who receive the most votes! The winning community will win 1 million dollars. And the 20 runners-up will each get $50,000! Wow this will really help out these communities!

I noticed a community that is  in my state - I would really like to help them out - and vote. Please vote for your favorite communities on the dates I mentioned. Also spread the word about this! It would be great if everyone could help out.

You can also help out by shopping at Walmart between April 9 and 30th. By purchasing select products from ConAgra, General Mills, Kraft and Kellogg's you can help donate to the cause - "Feeding America or Action for Healthy Kids'  Non profit that helps fight childhood hunger! Please check out Walmart's signs in the store & packaging - to make a difference!

Clean Screen Review

Hi guys, I have a cool review for you today. I received the product - "Clean Screen" recently.

Product Description
Clean Screen ends the confusion about how to safely clean valuable electronic screens.  Kit contains:
Spray: Formulated with Reverse Osmosis (RO) Solution state-of-the art water treatment technology.  RO removes molecules of mineral deposits and impurities smaller than the water molecules themselves.  RO leaves nothing behind but a crystal clear clean.  6.5 fl. oz.
Cloth: A unique synthetic suede microfiber cloth that is used to apply the RO solution.  Soft & lint-free, highly absorbent and quick drying, the cloth cleans without scratching delicate surfaces.

My Take on the product:

Clean Screen is great! Like it says in the description - "end the confusion." I am always confused as what to use on any electronics. I feel nervous using different cleaners on my computer screens and other screens, even soap and water makes me nervous. So now with the Clean Screen, I can just spray some on the cloth that it came with and clean all my electronics!

I used it right away on my computer screen, because I honestly have no idea the last time I cleaned it. And it really worked terrific. My daughter also used it on her iPod.

I highly recommend it to you for all your electronic screens!
