WW Another post on Recent Happenings

sorry guys for not updating my blog in a long time. stuff is not good at the moment. my Mom is really sick in hospital, and it is very bad so please pray for her because I am very upset about this and am going up to visit her very soon because it doesn't look positive at the moment.

my husband and I decided to go camping a couple of weeks ago, we have a camper but we bought a tent for short trips.. this is the first time in 20 years we went without kids.

we also have been flying a kite

this is a barbie one my daughter got since then we also got a better turtle one

do you remember that trip I said we took to Washington DC well it was to see Dan & Phil. Do you know who they are? they are youtubers my daughter loves. we also paid extra for the meet & greet. she was super happy. and we got to see their show after too.

Dance Pictures 2016

Hi guys - I know I haven't posted a "personal" post in awhile. I've been super busy lately. One reason is I got a part time job. I started back in April and it is a pretty good office job. It may only last til July, but it would be super cool if it turned permanent.

Another reason is my daughter's dance recital was last week and that is a week long process and then right after that we had tickets to this show she wanted to see. (which was for her birthday) And it was in Washington DC. So we went to that. Now I'm back but with this part time job- I don't have as much time for my blog as I used to.

Anyway here's a few dance pictures and will post more pics soon and maybe to this show we went to also.

Wordless Wednesday: April Fool's Joke

Hey guys, did you play any April Fool's jokes this year. Or get one played on you. Well my daughter and I were planning some this year. We were originally going to do "mayo in donut holes" that we had seen. but then we both had seen the exploding cake prank on buzzfeed. so we decided to do that.

husband thought was real cake until he poked it first. Then wasn't sure what it was, then we talked him into cutting it and it "exploded" kinda. Well this was fun to do and daughter made this mostly herself. Besides it kind of exploding we also tricked him because he thought it was a real cake, and unfortunately he didn't get any real cake that day lol.

ww Christmas Parade 2015

It is coming up on 5 yrs since we moved here! wow can't believe it. But anyway, every year since, my daughter has participated in the town's Christmas parade with her dance studio. well expect last year because for some reason we had misplaced the costume. So this year I had to buy pretty much a whole new costume. lol

WW: Pecans!

Remember those Pecan trees at my son's school? well I've been picking some over the past month. 

This is some of the pecan's I have (my husband did one day too) picked. This just may look like a big bunch of brown nuts. But there is a lot that actually goes into getting these. lol

This year's Halloween WW

This year my daughter dressed up in I guess 4 total outfits. Her dance classes dress up on  Halloween week. She did a bunny and a butterfly. The nun costume was kinda funny but we ended up returning it and she didn't wear it to the classes. We got a couple pics of her in it first though. Lol

I thought it was funny but the butterfly was better so we got that instead. 

WW Homecoming

Last week was #spiritweek at my daughter's high school. Every day they could dress up in different things. I should have gotten a pic of her "Rock & Roll" one.

Been absent lately

sorry haven't posted lately. you can say it is because I've been super busy or because nothing has happened lately. or a little of both.

anyway I drive my son to school now everyday, he goes to a College that is literally only like 15 min away, so I have to drive him and pick him up everyday.

Today was my daughter's first day of 10th grade. Which where we live is actually the first year of High School.

Camping Trip and Historical Visit

Hey guys. Last week I talked about how we went camping. Well it was right near a historic site. 

We visited the Appomattox Courthouse. This is where Lee surrendered to Grant at the end of the Civil War.

WW Latest Camping Pictures

We went camping again recently.

We went to a different place, that we hadn't been to before. It reminds me of the Bear Grylls show where you face your fears - ha-ha. Because There was a dock out in the water and we all jumped off of it -(a bunch of times) even though we were all scared because we hadn't jumped off one in so many years.

We also faced our fears of going out in a canoe. My daughter and I usually rent a paddle boat. But this time we rented a canoe. Any time I've been in a canoe I usually am just a "passenger" but this time she made me actually paddle. We did pretty good at it!
