Hey everyone. I have some really important information to share with you. It is how you can Vote to fight spring hunger with Walmart

This is a really great initiative from Walmart. As you may or may not know, spring time  traditionally brings a decrease in charitable donations to food banks. So Walmart is going to help bridge this gap. Between April 9-30th Walmart is having a Facebook campaign.

Fans will be able to support communities in need. Research has found that communities that are in the most need for food usually have a high unemployment rate. So the 200 communities determined by the Department of Labor will be the one's you can vote for.

Walmart is going to donate a total of 2 million dollars! Isn't that so cool! Way to go Walmart. They will be donating to the 21 top communities who receive the most votes! The winning community will win 1 million dollars. And the 20 runners-up will each get $50,000! Wow this will really help out these communities!

I noticed a community that is  in my state - I would really like to help them out - and vote. Please vote for your favorite communities on the dates I mentioned. Also spread the word about this! It would be great if everyone could help out.

You can also help out by shopping at Walmart between April 9 and 30th. By purchasing select products from ConAgra, General Mills, Kraft and Kellogg's you can help donate to the cause - "Feeding America or Action for Healthy Kids'  Non profit that helps fight childhood hunger! Please check out Walmart's signs in the store & packaging - to make a difference!
