Photo Hunters (12 ) 130 "Sad"

This weeks Photo Hunt theme is "sad." Here is a picture of my "sad" vegetable garden. These are my cherry tomato, and tomato plants. They look pretty "sad." And I know that it is fall now and you would expect that, but although they looked a little better in the summer, it was not by much. We had so much rain here this summer that my plants didn't fair very well.

Here is some "sad" pictures of my tomatoes. I only got a few more during the summer that are even pictured here. This is about as much as I got, and as you can see, the "sad" part is I even had to pick them green and they are not very big. So that was my "sad" vegetable garden for the summer. I hope it will be better next summer.

  2. Our tomatoes are the only thing that did well this year and it is usually the exact opposite.

  5. My tomatoes look(ed) the same. I think they were hit by blight, the first time ever for me.

I did Photo Hunters today, too. I hope you get a chance to visit and post your link. It would make me *happy*!

  6. Oh my trust me your garden looks great compared to ours.

I was in Maine for 5 months visiting my daughter. I was only supposed to be there for a month. But, that's another story altogether.

Anyway the person we hired to take care of our garden didn't!!

It is just one big mess of over grown grass and weeds that will have to be whacked down.

This is a sad picture though. Isn't it heart breaking when you plant and take care of something and then it just goes to waste?

Thanks for dropping by and visiting me.

I am meeting so many new people that it's wonderful.

I have a terrible cold and I am headed right now to force some food down and then take a nap.

After that I am going to try to visit more sites.

I am bookmarking you and I hope you come back by again!!:-))
