Fire Proofing Products

I remember when I was in elementary school, and once a year a fireman would come to our class and talk about fire safety. It was a great lesson to learn, but it also always scared me to think about a fire at my house.

The local news is always reporting of fires in houses, apartments and office buildings. It is devastating to people to lose their homes, and offices. Never mind the devastation if there is a loss of life.

That is why it is nice to know there is a way to fireproof our homes and places of business. KBS passive has fireproof sealant that has been designed to stop fires on electrical cable, electrical cable and PVC Pipe penetrations and joints. By combining firestopping, fire retarding, and fireproofing materials and methods, this complete system has been engineered to stop that loss.

KBS believes it is better to prevent a loss than try to recover from one afterward. They partner with their clients to address the property hazards and possible associated business risks that threaten their facilities from fire, and develop customized loss prevention solutions through Passive Fire Protection to lower risk.

Knowing that homes and offices can be protected with fire barrier sealant can give many peace of mind from fire danger.

  1. Yes, as they say it is better to be safe than sorry. These things can save our own lives when and if the time comes that we encounter a fire in our places of work or residence. Thanks for the practical post. God bless you and your loved ones always.

  2. Good info. Everyone (myself included) is always thinking it'll never happen to them... so as Mel said, it's always better to be safe.

(you've been tagged @ my blog btw)

  3. Last year, I think. On the TV show American Inventor, Greg Chavez invented the "Guardian Angel" Christmas tree fire extinguisher. It won First Place on the TV show, and was "supposed" to be already in production through "First Alert". But when I called them, they didn't have a clue as to what I was even talking about.
