Marketers Are Using Sponsored Conversations

I just watched the above video, which is pretty interesting. It talks about how marketers used to rely on word of mouth marketing. In order for a product to get attention marketers used to have to wait for it to get popular through word of mouth.

But now with the boom in social media, marketers are relying more on what is called a sponsored conversation. A sponsored conversation is a social media marketing technique in where marketers compensate social media publishers to spread the word. In fact this post I'm writing now is a sponsored conversation. I am being compensated to write this post.

Leading marketers are using sponsored conversations to get guaranteed exposure. Sponsored conversations work because they are genuine, measurable, scalable, and cost effective for advertisers.
