Pure Shea Butter #Review

Hi everyone, I recently received this product to review. It is some pure shea butter. It is made by the company Cleopatra's Choice Brand.

I try not to get to negative on reviews - but I want to  point out one thing about this product that I think was strange. The front of the packaging is number one - kinda on the plain side. But that is not the problem. It is that there is a few spelling mistakes on the text of the package. I mean I'm not an expert on packaging or anything, but a professional company should not be allowing a product to go out with any kind of spelling mistakes on it. Don't you think?

Well anyway some more about the product.

More of my thoughts

Pros:
  1. you get a big one pound tub of this. You get a lot for your money with this.
  2. shea butter is great for dry skin and really good for stretch marks.
  3. this is 100% natural & organic

Cons:

  1. this product is surprisingly hard. It is really solid and a lot harder to dig out of package than expected.

2. The smell isn't to bad - I guess natural scent. So not fragranced at all - which my daughter didn't like the smell too much - I guess takes getting used to.

I will have to do some more research on the uses of this product and see about mixing it with some DYI products like it says. I think I will try to use it in some homemade soap or something. I think that may be the best way to go with this. Anyone have any ideas or know of any shea butter recipes?

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

  2. I received this to review as well, and I noticed the same thing about the spelling mistakes. Here's my review of it: http://doyledispatch.com/2014/08/24/review-cleopatras-choice-shea-butter/ I'm glad I'm not the only one who caught that and was taken aback by it.
