CARD.com Prepaid Visa Debit Card Review

I was recently given an opportunity from Card.com.  I was first asked to pick my design. Which card I would like to pick. There are thousands of different cards to choose from.

I was trying to think of something that could reflect my personality. Or something that I really love. Well I don't know if you guys know this or not, but I really love baseball. I'm the Red Sox's #1 fan (ha-ha). Anyway, I checked to see what cards they had for baseball, and I got "The Baseball card."

This debit card is just like your bank card, but way cuter! You can use it everywhere Visa is accepted.

It is also very easy to sign up for your own card. It is free to order, activate and load. I went to the website and was signed up for my Baseball card in under 5 min!

This card is not a gift card, you can not give it or receive it as a gift. It is better then a gift card though because you don't just use it once and toss it, you can use it over and over again.  There are a lot of other really cool features too. I will tell you about some more of them now.

Besides, what I mentioned above, it is also has free direct deposit, and free card-to-card transfers anytime. There are also no credit checks, and no overdraft fees. You can access your money with your own pin # at over 22,000 ATMS.

I used my Card.com Prepaid Visa card the other day at the store. My daughter was able to go to the State Fair with her friend. And they were selling advanced tickets at the supermarket.  I was able to use the card, just like a regular debit card, because I had set up a pin #  when I activated my card on the phone. I even was able to tell the cashier I wanted to split the payment between this card and another one. I did all this without any problems!

One note - it is free for 30 days, but there is a 5.95 monthly fee after that. This will be waived if you have a monthly direct deposit of 800 or more.

Please visit the website listed above for more information, & to sign up for your own prepaid visa card from Card.com!

Disclosure: I received the prepaid card pre-loaded from sponsor, so I could facilitate this review. All opinions remain my own.
