Camera Critters #14

Last week my mother-in-law was away on vacation. She was not able to take her dog where she went. So we went down to watch her dog and cat for a few days. Here's a picture of the dog. His name is Reggie.

She lives right on a pond. Reggie likes to go swimming in the pond.

Also some ducks were sitting on this dock in the pond. Right on a little beach area next to my-mother-in laws house.

  10. Reggie is really cute but I love the little duckies!! She is so lucky to have some babies.

Every year our ducks and geese go to sit they get attacked by bobcats and mountain lions.

We really have a dangerous over load of them in our area now. but, the parks and wildlife people refuse to listen to us about the problem.

We are all very scared that a young child or even an adult will eventually be attacked. These cats are huge and very capable of dragging away a small child.

That's just the bobcats. The mountain lions are big enough to kill adults.

right now we have a temporary float out in the center of our pond for the few fowl we have left to get on when the cats are stalking.

But, we hope yo get an excavator in before next spring and build them a natural island out in the middle.

Then they can build their nests out there and hopefully we will have babies again!

i hope you have a great day!!:-)

  11. Cute puppy! When we lived in Wisconsin we used to take my oldest over to the river to feed the ducks. Lots of fond memories.
