Earlier this year, researchers from the University of Texas found that increasing tau levels can reduce the risks of developing Alzheimer’s.  You can build your tau protein levels by activating Apolipoprotein E receptors. The best way to do so is by eating foods that are appropriate for your body type. You will need to find out if you are a slow, fast or balanced oxidizer and follow the proper diet.
You should also try to increase your consumption of Vitamin E. A recent study from the National Institute on Aging found that consuming 2,000 IU/day of Vitamin E decreases the likelihood of developing Alzheimer’s disease.
