Cryo Cell - Enroll Today!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of CryoCell International for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Hey guys, I know you must remember many of my other previous posts, that I have done on the company Cryo-Cell.  If not I will try to give you a brief synopsis on what the company does.

Since 1992, Cryo Cell has helped 230,000 clients worldwide preserve their newborn's umbilical cord blood. These cells have the potential to be used against many diseases. Cryo-cell is also working on research that will find solutions to preserve stem cells in a noncontroversial way.

I personally believe in the importance of stem cell research. I just recently saw a piece on the news about the advances in stem cells. It was about a young man who was paralyzed in a car accident a few years ago. And he has been given some stem cells to help regenerate cells in his legs. They are still waiting for the results of this. But I think it is amazing what stem cells may be able to do.

Cryo Cell is helping to pioneer research in this field. And although I don't think they were involved in the case just mentioned. It is great they are providing research in preserving stem cells that could help people in situations like that.

As a new mom - Cryo-Cell is going to help moms stay fit. If you enroll today Cryo-Cell will give new members an award winning stroller. You will receive a "Baby Jogger City Mini stroller." So this is a great time to join Cryo-Cell. Enroll Today!

Cool Stuff Every Kid Should Know Book Review

Boston and the State of Massachusetts:: Cool Stuff Every Kid Should Know (Arcadia Kids)

With Memorial Day over, it's time to start thinking about Summer. And I don't know about you but this time of year makes me want to go on some family trips.

Well, I just received a book called: Boston and the State of Massachusetts:: Cool Stuff Every Kid Should Know (Arcadia Kids).

In this book you will find: HOW one Boston building provides a daily weather forecast?

(Hint: If you know the poem you can crack the code!)

WHAT popular spot in the city was once used for such

things as livestock grazing and public hangings?

(Hint: It's been public property for a long time!)

You can find these answers and more in this book.

My husband and I grew up in Massachusetts and have been to many of the sites in the book. Like the Swan boats and Faneuil Hall and more, but one place my husband noticed in the book he never went to (even though he lived not to far from it) is Castle Island which has a cool fort called Fort Independence built during the Revolutionary war.

This book has lots of information like the state bird, great museums to visit and lots more. This is great for kids and the whole family, with lots of colorful pictures! And the good news is there are books on 22 U.S. Cities so you may find one for your state!

Buy it:  Boston and the State of Massachusetts:: Cool Stuff Every Kid Should Know can be purchased at Amazon.com or at Arcadia.com. The publisher is offering a special 20% discount for consumers who purchase Arcadia Kids books at the Arcadia site. Enter the code "COOL" at checkout to receive the discount.

Disclaimer: I received a copy of the above book to review. No monetary compensation was given, and the opinions are solely my own.

WW "Reasons to Like the Beach"

  1. First day this year at beach (lake) - cost of gas, food, etc. - at least $30
  2. lost 2 pairs of swimming goggles - $50 (for some reason bought the real expensive kind a couple of years ago)
  3. Husband getting terrible sunburn  - even though he gobbed himself with sunscreen - no price on that
  4. Spending time with family at beach and having fun  - priceless (I think)

remind me why I like going? put some "shirts" on guys - which maybe they should be really wearing to keep out sun. I think this is them looking for goggles, which the first time it happened they found them. second time lost both prs. on bottom of lake.
