Mellow Yellow - #4

While on a walk around my neighborhood I spotted this beautiful bush, with yellow flowers on it. I didn't have my camera with me, but went back the next day to get some pictures. I always feel a little weird doing that outside someone's house, but Oh Well.

This a close up, of some of the flowers. Not sure what they are called.

Tell Your Best Jewelry Story

With Mother's Day just here, I was thinking about jewelry. Mostly because I didn't get to see my mother on Mother's Day so I still have to get her something and I thought I might get her a pair of earrings.

I then thought of a pair of earrings, I had received from my husband. A few years ago, my husband surprised me on Christmas with some diamond earrings. When he gave them to me, I was very surprised. I had no idea he was going to give me those for Christmas.

These earrings are very sentimental to me. They are my favorite pair of earrings. And every time I wear them, I think of that Christmas. And I think of how much I love my husband.

If you like jewelery too, then you should visit the Jewelry Information Center. This website is a great source for information on fine jewelry trends. On there you can also find information on jewelry care, shopping tips, gift giving and more.

There is also a great section called Jewelry Stories. In this section you can read other people's jewelry stories. You can see what others have shared about jewelry and any special meanings it has to them. You can even post your own jewelry stories there if you wan too. Also if you do submit a jewelry story you will be entered into a contest. This contest is for a chance to win a 14K white gold 1.5 carat diamond Kay Jewelers necklace. So check it Jewelry Information Center now!

Camera Critters - Flamingos

As I mentioned last week, we went to the "Stone Zoo," on April 30th. I took enough pictures to last me awhile - lol! Here are some cool shots (I think anyway) of the flamingos.

This one was bending straight down, trying to get something to eat I guess.
