Sears Holiday Cheer

I don't know about you, but I am starting to get in the Holiday mood. I'm not sure if it is too early to start decorating yet, but I really want to!

In an attempt to get in the Holiday Spirit, my daughter and I headed to Sears yesterday. And also to get some decorating ideas.

We visited the Sears Christmas Shop. And we really saw a lot of things we liked.

Who doesn't like a big old stuffed Christmas Minnie Mouse? I know my daughter did:

They also had a lot of really cute outdoor lawn decor. Snoopy and Woodstock (the mailbox door opens and closes.) Very cute!:

Who wouldn't want this cute flying/angel pig?

And my absolute favorite - The Abominable Snowman!

There was also some beautiful Christmas Trees. This one was very nice - I thought - with the snow already covering the branches:

But my number one favorite thing I really loved was the Ty Pennington Style  7 Ft Clear Pre-Lit White Artificial Christmas Tree.  I never thought I would love a white Christmas tree. But I really loved this. I even loved all the decorations they had on it too!

Please visit these links for more information:

also my Smiley360 page for more info on all the Sears Holiday Cheer stuff:

Also the Sears Shop Your Way Rewards program (which I belong too and have got some savings here and there from):

Get Set For College

This post was sponsored by Sears. All the opinions are mine.

It's almost back to school time. And one aspect that is often overlooked by some is college students. Well Sears has a whole site called CampusReady. This is designed with the college student in mind. Sears will help get the college student ready for school.

The site will help create a dorm room that is perfect for every student. The site is broken into different categories that will help in the decision process of shopping for college.

First is: Shop by dorm room. This will give you different ideas on the kind of dorm room you may want to create. Such as Funky Femme, Haute Couture, or All Around Athlete. Each different kind of dorm room then shows what it would look like and what products you will need for it. You can then click on the products and view them.

You can then shop by Suite of coordinating dorm room products and design ideas. This will allow you to select an item that you like. Then Sears will automatically display other products that coordinate with it. This is a great organizing tool.

Next you can use the Shopping checklist. Sears has provided a list of things that college students will need. This is a great way to get ideas on what a college student will definitely need. You can then check off the items you will need.

Sears has also organized a List of everything your child will need for their first home away from home. This interactive list is a must for parents and their college students. The list is displayed in 5 categories of eating, sleeping, studying, playing, and cleaning.

There is also Links to categories of clothing college students will need. This is great to find all the clothes they will need for college life. And they will give you ideas on Apparel must haves.

Financial tips and Financial planning tips are also provided on this site. The "Money Sense" tab will give students lots of ideas on the importance of creating a budget. There is also a lot of great ideas on how students can save money on books, clothes, food and more!

Also check out CampusReady on Facebook. There you can become a fan of their app, and really get full use of the site.

With college tuition costs on the rise, Sears is giving college students a chance to win money towards college tuition from Sears and Upromise! They will be awarding a total of $25,000. Upromise members are automatically entered with a sears.com purchase through Upromise.com, or enter free at sears.com/campusready. See sears.com/campusready for full rules and complete details.

Fulfill Wishes For Military Families

Sears Heroes at Home Wish Registry is a way you can fulfill wishes for Military families. Sears has developed Heroes at Home Wish Registry as a way to give help during the holiday season to
military service members, veterans, and their families.

There are 30,583 registered military families in the program. And they all need help from donations. Please note that donations are not tax deductible. Donations will be given as Sears gift cards equally to all registered families.

Just think of the sacrifices the military and there families have given to our country. Wouldn't it be great if you could give back to them? If you can spare any kind of donation then this would be a great program to give to. I encourage you to visit the Sears Heroes at Home Wish Registry and read about it for yourself. There you can also view messages and stories from some of the people who have been helped by this program.

They make a difference, so can you! Check out the website now to find out how you can make a difference.

Heroes at Home from Sears

Christmas will soon be upon us. People will be shopping for presents soon, or maybe you have already started. Or for those real go getter's you may be already done. Well maybe before you finish your shopping you could consider helping people in need.

This is the season of giving after all and there is a program called Sears Heroes at Home Wish Registry. Sears has established a Heroes at Home program to provide support to military service members, veterans, and their families. Sears has been working with various non-profit organizations. And this year they are expanding their program to allow Americans to help out too.

If you want to help you can donate to Sears Heroes at Home Wish Registry and Sears will use the donations to purchase non-tax deductible gift cards for deserving families. Isn't that what Christmas is all about? Giving to others who are in need. And who better to help then the men and woman and their families who have helped us with their sacrifices for our country!

Sale on Sears Craftsman Tools

My brother-in-law is in construction. He actually owns his own construction company. He can do everything from building a house from the ground up, to building a deck. And everything in between.

He even does a lot of the designing and architecture himself. He is one of the few people I know who actually loves his job and loves what he does. I know he also loves tools. He has to, to do what he does.

So every year when it comes time for his birthday or Christmas, I know what to get him - tools. So since Christmas is coming, I was happy to see that right now Sears is having Craftsman C3 Tools on Sale . Sears has the top brands in tools, everything from
Craftsman to Makita, DeWalt to Gladiato. And they are all at an affordable price. This sale will be great to help out my budget for Christmas.

And I'm sure my brother-in-law will be happy receiving Craftsman tools. They will really help him get his job done inside and out.
