Kissimmee Vacation!

Which at 120 feet high is one of the world's tallest and fastest free-fall body slide. We didn't actually go on this one though. But my husband and son went down the one in Typhoon Lagoon, called the Humunga Kowabunga. Which is very big too!

After you visit the water parks, you may want to go shopping, play golf or do some other outdoor activities. Well there is plenty of that to do in Central Florida. How about taking a boat ride through the Florida Everglades? You will visit wetlands on a scenic lake tour watching for birds, turtles, and alligators. Or how about trying an exhilarating air boat ride across Lake Toho? I would love to do that!

Summer Vacation Is Coming Up

I can't believe this weekend is Memorial Day Weekend! That came up quick. Soon Summer vacation is going to be here. My family and I like to do a lot of camping in the summer. I have already planned one camping trip, we are taking. We have reservations for 4 day camping trip Fourth of July weekend. I hope to make some more plans for our vacation soon.

One thing that would be really cool, is if we could take a trip to Kissimmee. There is a lot of fun things to do there. While in Kissimmee you can visit World Class Theme Parks. These theme parks include, Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando Resort and Seaworld Orlando. Kissimmee is central to all these theme parks, and no Kissimme vacation would be complete without visiting at least one or two of these theme parks. That's why it's great to plan your theme park vacation in Kissimme, because it is the heart of Florida.

While in Kissimme, another cool thing I would like to do is go on an air boat ride. My sister went on one of these when she was in Florida, and said it was a blast. You can really see nature up close and enjoy the great outdoors on one of these air boats. And you can go fast and have a lot of fun doing it too.

That is the great thing about a vacation in Kissimmee, you can visit all the great theme parks and also enjoy the outdoors. You can see all the great things in Florida and enjoy the small town atmosphere of Kissimmee.

First the Heritage Trail in Kissimmee, boasts all kinds of museums, antique shops and monuments and much more. Secondly I'd love to go to eat at one of the many restaurants in Kissimmee. There is every type of restaurant and culinary experience imaginable in Kissimmee. And lastly, there is a lot of great shopping oppurtunities in Kissimmee.

And Kissimmee has tons of fun things to do. One thing I thought looked like so much fun is, the water parks! I love water parks and my husband and kids do too.

Wet N' Wild and Aquatica are just two of the nearby water parks. You could enjoy a whole day there, they are so much fun. One of the things that you could do for free in Kissimmee is visit the Old Town Shopping, Dining, and Entertainment Complex. Admission is free, and it's a great way to spend the day. On weekends Old Town is a great place for car buffs. Fridays you can see some exotic and custom cars. And Saturdays there is a "Saturday Nite Cruise," which is an 18 year old tradition. There you will be able to see some real nice classic cars.

Another thing to do in Kissimmee is visiting some Nature Preserves. This would be right up my alley. I love to go hiking and sightseeing at Nature Preserves. There are a few different ones in the area, including the Lake Lizzie Nature Preserve. There are nesting bale eagles and endangered Whooping cranes there. That sounds like something I would really love to see.


And there are a lot of other fun, free things to do while at Kissimmee! And just think with the money you save on doing a few free things, you may be able to do a few fun filled carefree things too. Like going to the Orlando Museum of Art, or something I always wanted to try, Hot Air Ballooning. You could take a ride on a hot air balloon! That sounds like a lot of fun.
