Uncle Ben's Flavor Infusions

Hi everyone I'm sorry haven't posted anything lately. Blogging is not what it used to be and I've had a lot of things in my life no time to blog.. I wanted to share the Uncle Ben's Flavor Infusions I received from Influenster though.

These are new rice mixes you can buy. I think Target has a big selection of them.

The rice inspired me to make some stuffed peppers. I haven't made those in literally years. And found an easier way to do it. And I used this rice and it was really good. My husband loved the dinner.

The rice was also easy to make. I will try to post some more soon. But am finding it hard to do so...
well that's it for now.

SHEBA® Meaty Tender Sticks

Hi everyone. It's been awhile since I posted anything. Here is a short review for a product I got from Influenster. It is for Sheba Meaty Tender Sticks.

sorry to say my cat Pepper didn't really like them. That is not to say this is not a good product. My cat just never has really like treats anyway. But I thought I would try these out to see if she would change her mind lol. If your cat likes treats already then you should give these a try. You can find these at Target and they are priced I think fairly cheaply. And they also come in different flavors too.

Recently I got a coupon for some Ore-Ida tater tots. They came in the #Jinglevoxbox I received from Influenster. I went to Walmart and got a free bag.

I was asked to come up with a recipe using the tater tots. I don't know about you but until now I never thought of using tatertots in any other way but then cooking as is in the oven.

But guess what you can!

Here is the simple recipe I came up with. And that is because I didn't have many ingredients in the house at the time. Which is cool anyway, because that means you can come up with something with only a few ingredients.

The Ivory Soap Experiment

Hey guys. I got a free bar of Ivory from Influenster. There are some cool things besides the usual that you can do with Ivory.

Have you ever done the Ivory Soap experiment? Place a bar of Ivory soap on microwave safe bowl or plate. Heat for 2 min in microwave. And look what happens:

It is also fun to watch it do it's thing in the microwave. Little ones will especially get a kick out of it. Adult supervision recommended - and be careful removing from microwave as will be pretty hot for awhile.


You can then do different things with your puffed up Ivory. Check out my pinterest board for some ideas. I decided to make my own liquid hand soap out of it. I have a 2 liter supply of it now!

Hi everyone! I got another voxbox from Influenster.com  recently. This one is called the #TLCVoxbox and it was given exclusively to Mothers! Mom's need a little TLC of their own, right?

4. Neosporin Neo to Go

This is a must for Moms - the kids or even adults are always getting cuts and this little squirt bottle of the neosporin is great! 

5. Ivory Bar Soap

This is a big bar of soap I got. It's the original Ivory! who doesn't love it - it's 99.44% pure!

6. Avon Anew Reversalist Express Wrinkle Smoother

I just tried this product for first time today! And I am not kidding when I say this is awesome! It is very smooth and creamy feeling. And comes in a cool compact with a mirror. I put some of this on a few "fine" lines I have on my forehead & it really smoothed out the lines! I can't wait to keep trying this - and on some other lines on my face too!

You may have read about my #Jadorevoxbox in a couple of my other posts. Well now I want to tell you a little more about one of the products I got.

I want to tell you a little more about one of the products I got in the J'Adorevoxbox I posted about last week. Check that post here if you like.

My review:

I tried this out when I first got it, at first I was a little surprised about it. That is because when I first squirted some out onto my hand it was kinda watery. I thought that was odd, since I think other mud type masks I've tried are very thick.

So I wasn't sure how this was going to work. You can go to my Instagram account to see pictures I took. The first one is when it is just applied (I took this one back in Feb. when I first got it) Check out picture HERE.

Despite my first misgivings about this being watery, once you apply it to your face it does go on smoothly and evenly. And coats your face rather nicely. Go here for second picture (I redid a mask the other day so I could get a couple more pictures) This picture shows what happens while the mask is drying. You get sort of a camo look - lol

The third step is the drying of the mask - this literally takes no more then 10-15 min. to dry. After that you can wash off with a face cloth and warm water. Check out this picture on Instagram of my mask once it was completely dry.

Once I rinsed this off, I noticed how refreshed and smooth my skin felt. It really works well and is a very nice facial mask.
