I received some Hair Flairs to review.


Product Description
Hair Flairs are a tie-in glitter strand. Made from durable polyester, it simply ties into hair. You can wash, blow-dry, flat-iron with Hair Flairs in your hair. Trina Marr was interviewed on the Oprah Winfrey show on Jan 28th and was wearing Sparkle Gold Hair Flairs. Oprah loved them! Now you can try them too.


My Take on the Product:
You may recall I had done a review & giveaway of this product in the past. Well I wanted to get some more of the Hair Flairs because my daughter really likes them! 


I received them in blue and in kaleidescope colors. Also handy was a how-to DVD and some written instructions. I have put them in my daughter's hair before. But watching the DVD on how to do it again, really helped. The trick I think is to get the knot as close to the scalp as possible -then they stay in better.


These are really a fun accessory for anyone who wants to add some flair to their hair!

Hair Flairs - Pro Hair Tinsel Review & Giveaway - ENDED!

I recently received two packages of Hair Flairs Pro Tinsel to review and offer in a giveaway.

Hair Flairs - Pro Hair Tinsel - Individual strands that tie-into hair at the root. The strands add sparkle, color, and metallic highlights to hair. You can shampoo, blow-dry, and style your hair like normal. You can even use a curling-iron or flat-iron up to 400 degrees F. They will last anywhere from 1 week to 6 weeks depending on the strength of the knot. Hair Flairs carries 19 colors that go from bold trendy colors to complementary colors. They are great for every day and special occasions and add a little touch of flair to your hair.

My Take on the product:

The timing of me reviewing this product actually couldn't be better. Literally the day I was approved to be sent some Hair Flairs, my daughter asked me if next time she goes to the hairdresser, could she get a strip of her hair dyed. I guess a friend of hers had a purple strip in her hair for months. I am not passing judgement on what others let their kids do, but I'm sorry I am not letting my 10 year old daughter get purple dye in her hair.

So I figured the Hair Flairs could make her happy for the time being.

When the products came, my daughter wasn't home from school yet, so my husband decided to test them out on me. Let's just say he never got them in my hair.

I was tired on Friday, and actually went away this weekend so I decided not to even tell my daughter that they came until Sunday night. I watched the Hair Flairs YouTube video to hopefully have better luck then my husband had. I think I got them in somewhat correctly in my daughter's hair. I put two blue ones on one side, and two gold on other.

Although these are difficult to get in - and you can't really put them in your own hair - without help. Once you get the hang of it these could be great for tweens, teens, or anyone who may want some flair in their hair without the option having to dye your hair. (update: it's two days later and they are still staying in her hair)
