My take on the product:

Number 1 - let me just say - I love the smell of this spray! That is the first thing I noticed. I'm not sure the exact fragrance - but it is very close to a coconut smell. It's really great!

Also my daughter and I have been using it after we take a shower and towel dry our hair a little. It works really nice, and my daughter said it makes her hair shiny and smooth. It seems to add a nice finish to your hair. And admittedly my daughter and I could tend to have a little "frizz" to our hair. And this spray seems to help eliminate that.

I would really recommend this to you! Check it out HERE to purchase some of your own. 4 fl. oz. for $19.99.

Disclosure: I received one of the above products to review. No other compensation was given and my opinions are my own.

WW - Now I want to go fishing

We went to a certain "Pro" shop to look around. We had never been to one, because there weren't any where we used to live.

It was somewhat of a drive, but we wanted to look around and maybe pick up a fishing rod. They had a e 23,000 gallon fresh water aquarium. It holds the state winning catfish - (which was huge - looked even bigger in real life).

Here's my daughter on a four wheeler.

The store was cool - and I would love to have bought more (we did get a fishing rod for my daughter.) But the one thing that did turn me off - was an employee there - tried to sell us a vacation at a time share! At first we thought he was just being nice - making small talk - next thing you know he is pitching us a whole vacation. Seemed kinda weird, and didn't expect that. I thought it was unnecessary - when you just want to look around at a sporting goods store! (I guess it's part of a thing they have there. - vacation spots?)

I love planting tomatoes! I think I can start sometime very soon to do that. This year I think my husband and I are going to plant them in pots, instead of directly in the ground. We will see how that works. I also am really excited to try the new Miracle Grow - called Expand ‘n Gro™.

Watch this video to learn more:

This looks so cool! And I think it could really help out my tomatoes this year. It will expand up to 3 times when water is added to it. And will feed my plants for up to 6 months! I think I will have some awesome tomatoes this year! I can't wait!

It says I should get 3 times the vegetables or flowers then with regular soil! Wow that is so cool, and it will also improve your soil for multiple years. And the all natural fibers hold up to 50% more water then basic potting soil.

Don't you want to try this? Are you going to plant a garden this year? Let me know in the comments if you would like to win a sample of this. I will be receiving a sample of this and would like to pass it on to one lucky person who leaves me a comment.

You can purchase Expand n' Gro at many lawn and garden retailers or check Amazon too!

*I will be receiving a small sample to giveaway*

Happy Spring, Strawberry Squares, and A Visit From The Fairy Hobmother

Hi all! Happy Spring! It's another beautiful day and I love Spring - even though it actually has been more like summer around here - lol.

I also wanted to share with you a recipe. It's one I can remember since I was little. My mother used to make these all the time. When I recently visited her - I wrote down this recipe to try on my own for the 1st time.

Frosty Strawberry Squares:

1 cup flour
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup butter
2 egg whites
1 (10 oz) pkg. frozen strawberries -
partially thawed do not drain
2/3 cup gran. sugar
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 cup whipping cream

stir together first four ingred., spread evenly in shallow baking pan.
bake 20 min at 350 degrees.

When done sprinkle half in 9x13 in. pan.

combine egg whites, 2/3 cup sugar, partially thawed strawberries (not drained) & lemon juice in large bowl, w/ eclectic mixer. Beat at high speed til stiff peaks form at least 10 min., fold in whipped cream.

spread in pan, and sprinkle remaining crumbs on top. Freeze 6 hrs or overnight. cut in squares.

And on this beautiful first day of spring I also got a really pleasant surprise from the the Fairy Hobmother. I opened my email this morning to find out I received an Amazon GC from them! The Fairy Hobmother visited me from Appliances Online. Oooo.. I'd love some new appliances! Wouldn't you? Go check them out.

What a great way to start of Spring! Thanks Fairy Hobmother!

Pinterest ebook Review & Giveaway {The Quick and Easy Guide to Branding Your Business and Creating Massive Sales with Pinterest, by Kim Garst}

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Mom Blog Society. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Hi everyone. I was recently sent an  ebook - called The Quick and Easy Guide to Branding Your Business and Creating Massive Sales with Pinterest, by Kim Garst.

Here is some info about the ebook:

Over a very short period of time, Pinterest has become one of the leading social media networks. Fairly recently, given that it launched in early 2010, the site has grown in leaps and bounds and is viewed as a strong competitor to the older social media networking websites.

Over the past few years, businesses have been using social media websites for promoting and boosting their businesses. The same is the case with Pinterest. You might be wondering how a photo sharing website can help your business become a success.

This book is intended to be a guide for using Pinterest to strengthen your business and brand. Read on and learn how ‘you can do’ branding with Pinterest!

My take on the ebook:

I am a real novice when it comes to Pinterest. I just joined it recently, and really am still learning about it. As will be evident if you visit my "boards" on there. I really could use all the info. I can on this subject. So I was looking over the ebook and I already got a lot of good tips from it. Just like one thing I learned in a few min. from reading this book was a tip I didn't know is to - Go to your settings and make sure that your ‘hide your Pinterest profile from search engines” is checked to the OFF position. Search engines can now find you! I didn't know that.

So I would really recommend this book to anyone wanting to learn more about Pinterest. Not just for getting "massive sales" like the title suggests, but also for the novice like me. I know I'm going to study this some more - to help me improve my Pinterest boards!

Win it: Well lucky you! One of my readers will win their own Pinterest ebook as described above. Please enter using the Rafflecopter form below:

WW - Tiger

What kid doesn't like to get their face painted? This weekend my daughter's school had a spring book sale, with some other fun stuff. She got her face painted as a tiger. This is one of the best face paintings she has ever gotten - and it was done by just a high schooler.

Ohiya (the art of making friends)

I received some media samples to review. It's from a company called Ohiya.

Here is some info from the company:

Welcome to Ohiya, a magical place where the simple act of saying "Hi" is more than just a friendly greeting, it's a way of life. Ohiya's cute, cuddly and sometimes crass characters mirror the unique qualities within each and every one of us. We all have different ways of connecting, some better than others. Ohiya is a reminder that creating a unique friendship is like a work of art - built one brush stroke at a time.
Lucky for you, that's the only kind of art we practice - the art of making friends.

My Review:
When I saw some of these cool characters, I knew it was something my daughter would like. We received a signed print (not the t-shirt pictured below). But a print of the same unicorn showing below. My daughter hung it up in her room. Cute! I guess he's eating clouds and you can see what is coming out the back - lol.

We also received some stickers and some pins with some of the other characters. Such as Zoomipop, Zombuddiez, Mythtaken, Katinja and rock band Smooch.
My daughter particularly likes the Zombuddiez Characters. I guess these guys are Zombies. My daughter loves zombies so she likes them. The pins have them saying "I ♥ Brains." - lol. And some other sayings.
Here is a cute stuffed animal of one. (an example - I didn't receive this - but my daughter wants one!)

This one is named Koki - and it says that Koki lost all his nine lives, and now is back from the dead! - lol.

These characters are really cool & I want to learn more about them. If you do also - check out these links below:

WW "Laptop"

Last week my daughter received money from various relatives for her birthday. Combined with a hefty donation from her Mom & Dad - she was able to buy a new laptop.
