Lovemode Review & Giveaway

Want to win a cool dress or shirt? Or maybe something in denim or a bottom?  Well read on for a review and giveaway from Lovemode. They offer trendy junior clothing.

Product info:
Lovemode sells trendy juniors clothing at affordable prices.  Some of the items that we carry are clubwear and trendy juniors clothing for the fashion forward girl.  Our mission is to help girls look the best that they can by providing them with cheap juniors clothing that are still fashionable and trendy.  Lovemode carries a wide variety of dresses, tops, denim, and sale items for girls.

My Review:
My daughter isn't technically a "teen" - more like a "tween," but she still like fashion. So when I was asked to do this review I had her look on the website for something she would like. My daughter noticed the prices. Lovemode really has some great prices. There is a lot of selection on cheap juniors clothes.

Here's a picture of the top my daughter chose from website:

And here's a picture my daughter modeling that same shirt:

Mixbook Review

Here's a great review for you guys. It's from a company called Mixbook.

Product Info:

Mixbook, a leading photo publishing company. Unlike our competitors, our photo books are 100% customizable, allowing users to begin with either a blank book or an existing template that can then be edited to their liking. Mixbook also has a unique collaboration feature which allows our users to invite friends and family to work on a project together. We offer competitive pricing and our email subscribers often receive exclusive discounts. Also, our customers love us and consistently give us a 5-star rating.

My take on the Product:
Honestly, when I first was asked to do this review I was somewhat neutral on it. I wasn't too excited one way or the other.

But then when I went to the Mixbook website and started to look around, I really started getting excited about this.

I decided to use an existing template they had. And what I decided to use was a "Father's Day" theme. Since Father's Day is coming up I thought I would make a book to give to my husband. This was so much fun to make and fairly easy too. You can upload your pictures from your computer, flickr account, and various other places.

Then you just pop you photos in the spots you want them, you can also add some text too. This took me longer to do then I thought. Not because the website was hard to use or anything, but because I put a lot more thought into this then I thought I would! I am really happy with how my Mixbook turned out. I received it the other day in the mail. The only problem is going to be - is not showing my husband til Father's day! I can't wait to give this to him.

Here's some pictures of the Mixbook:

Not used to doing videos. But here is a short one I created:

There are so many templates to choose from. This would be great for say a new baby, wedding anniversary, etc. The possibilities are endless.

Buy it: The Mixbook I created - which was a 20 page 11X5 book cost $29.99  (costs will depend on size and amount of pages you add). Mixbook is offering this to my readers: 20% off discount code: TOMOSON20 - No expiration date, but it can only be used once per customer

Store Brand Formula Won Victory!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of storebrandformula.com for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Do you remember awhile back, I did some posts on Store Brand Formula? As I recall myself, it was how PBM Products were claiming false advertising against Enfamil maker Mead Johnson.

Well, now I have some news to report, I found out some more information on this topic, I want to share with you guys. Store brand infant formulas have won a major victory this week. The U.S. Circuit Court upheld a $13.5 million false advertising claim against Enfamil maker Mead Johnson.

PBM successfully argued that Enfamil's ads that claimed  they were superior to store brand formulas was false and misleading advertising. In fact store brand formulas offer the same nutrients at the same levels as Enfamil. You can check out this website: storebrandformula.com for more information. This site is great to find out things like where to buy, questions and answers and even some info. on breast feeding. I really recommend this website. You can even read more about the case. The judge in the case wrote something like PBM cannot fairly compete with Mead Johnson until Mead Johnson stops infecting the marketplace with misleading advertising.

So basically what I am gathering from all this is that store brand formula is equal to those expensive formulas like Enfamil. Which is really great news for families out there in this economy!

WW #149 "Daughter's Artwork"

Every year my daughter's school has a  fundraiser - where the kids do a drawing. Then you can order it & get it put on different things. Such as water bottles, mugs, key-chains, etc.

My husband likes to get a t-shirt  (he wears proudly) -  and this year my daughter wanted a sketch-book.

Here's the picture she drew (it's our cat - Pepper)

Cascade Complete All-in-1 ActionPacs Review & Giveaway {5 Winners!}

I took the Cascade Complete All-in-1 Action Pacs 24 Hour Challenge for this review & giveaway.

Here's what I had to do:

Instructions:
  • Bake a Blueberry Cobbler.* Enjoy!
  • Set the empty baking dish out for 24 hours
  • Without rinsing, put it in the dishwasher with Cascade Complete

Here are my results:

Just for the heck of it - Picture of My Blueberry Cobbler -

Picture of dish after Blueberry cobbler gone & sitting for 24 hrs:

Picture of dish after washing with Cascade Complete All-in-1 Action Pacs

As you can see - the dish was pretty messy after the blueberry cobbler was gone. I set the dish aside and did not soak it or pre-rinse or anything for 24 hrs. This morning I popped it in the dishwasher with my other dishes  - popped in a Cascade Complete All-in-1 ActionPac - and ~ Voila! Beautifully clean dish!

Product Information:
With new Cascade Complete – you won’t mind taking turns at the sink. And if the thought of dirty dishes in the sink has ever made you think twice about making a favorite meal, Cascade Complete is here to help.

The excess scrubbing of cookware and dirty tableware is not only tiring, but time consuming. Allowing the remains of a delicious dinner to set in its baking dish could mean water logged fingers and hours in the kitchen.

Put your pre-soaking days behind you, and lighten your load with Cascade Complete All-in-1 ActionPacs. They break down, dissolve, and rinse away tough food particles, leaving your hands free and your dishes sparkling. Sound too good to be true? We dare you to take the 24 Hour Challenge
.

Buy it: Try ActionPacs for less than $1.00 when you buy the new trial size at participating Walmart stores.

Win it:  Five (5) lucky winners will win a New Trial Size Cascade Complete ActionPacs of their own.

Mandatory Entry: Please share the meal you are most excited to use the Cascade Complete All-in-1 Action Pacs to clean up after.
