Seafood Recipe Contest

I love seafood and love to try new recipes. Over at the website The Great American Seafood Cook Off, they're having a contest to pick the best seafood recipe. The cook off is between 5 finalists. You can visit the site and choose which recipe you think is the best. If you cast your vote for your favorite recipe you'll have a chance to win a trip to New Orleans.

The recipe that caught my eye is Louisiana Shrimp and Andouille Cassoulet. It is the creation of Chef Brian Landry, who is from Louisiana. Here's a picture of it:

This recipe looks great. I love seafood because it's fresh, local and has a great taste! I especially love shrimp. So I would really like to try this recipe. If I was to make it, I wouldn't alter a thing. The reason this recipe appeals to me, is that it doesn't look that hard to make yourself.

Another great thing about this recipe is that all the ingredients look easily attainable. A lot of the ingredients are one's you might already have and your pantry. And if not they look like one's that wouldn't be hard to find.

Writing this is making me hungry for some shrimp! Maybe I'll buy some fresh, local, shrimp later so I can try out this recipe! So if you want to vote for your favorite head over to the website. You'll also be entered to win that trip to New Orleans. It's also a great chance to check out some great seafood recipes, that you may want to try.
