Aluminum And Parabens May Cause Cancer

Did you know that aluminum and parabens found in antiperspirants have been linked to breast cancer? It is believed that they can pass through the skin due to underarm shaving. Shaving can cause nicks and irritation to the skin and the aluminum and parabens can be absorbed through that.

I remember hearing this debate awhile ago on some talk shows. At the time I didn't give it much thought. Until I was getting irritation under my arm and even had a lump under my arm. I got pretty paranoid about it and was worried about cancer. I even went out and bought an antiperspirant free of aluminum and parabens. The lump went away and I stopped using this particular antiperspirant. But I really believe this could be true. I probably should go back to that antiperspirant.
