Unplug & Play! 50 Games That Don’t Need Charging { Book Review & #Giveaway } - 2 Winners!

I received this free to do review & giveaway.

Info about book:

Inspired by a time before the interruption of technology, this book of games offers relief from America’s need to be constantly connected through technology and a way to reconnect with friends and family.

Since the advent of smartphones and social media in the 21st century, the world has seen a decline in meaningful communication and face-to-face interactions. Seeking a solution, Berger created Unplug & Play! 50 Games That Don’t Need Charging, a culmination of decades of games he has played over the years. The book contains 50 games which test each player’s ability to strategize, bluff, read minds, memorize, think quickly, and solve puzzles, and is suitable for all ages. Requiring only an ability to communicate and good old-fashioned pens and paper, for five minutes or five hours, you will be unplugged.

My review:

I received this book the other day, and it is really cool! My family loves playing games so this is going to be really fun! It is going to be cool to delve into this book more and check out all the games we can play.

Considering the kids nowadays (I can speak personally about my teens) are always online, computers, iPods, Facebook, etc. So this is going to be really great to "Unplug" from all that and play some games together.

None of these games require any electronics and they are actually not allowed! At most you will need some writing instruments and paper that's it!

I was reading the introduction and saw that games are broken down into 6 categories. You have everything from matching games to puzzle games, etc. My son and I played one of the puzzle games. Since we both love movies so much we tried one called "Movie Match." It was really fun.

It shows a list of places and people you can use this book at. Such as Road Trips, flights, parties, with students, friends, family, etc. We may be going on a long road trip next month and this book will come in handy for that. Another thing it will be fun for I was thinking too, is camping. We go on a few camping trips in the summer and we are always looking for games to play!
