Aloha Friday & A Bunch Of New Friday Follow Sites

Aloha Friday Beach Tikiki Plumerias

An Island Life hosts this meme. Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

My Question: Have you ever broken any bones? If you have kids have they ever? Or maybe your significant other?

My Answer:  I have only ever broken one of my fingers when I was in High School in gym class. My husband broke his leg before I even knew him in a motorcycle accident, and about 3 months before our wedding he broke his arm. Now my daughter is having an issue with her knee. She didn't "break" it, but this is the second time 8 months she has severely sprained her knee, requiring an x-ray, crutches, etc. I'm kinda worried.

Hi from any of these sites! I linked up at all these below for different Friday following. Go link up too, to get some followers and to follow others!

NMEDA - Find A Qualified Dealer Near You

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of NMEDA. All opinions are 100% mine.

There is some concerns in my family over my Mother-in-law. She is actually in the hospital right now. And has been since Saturday. She is getting older in age, and there is some concerns due to her heart. She has been having all kinds of tests done.

Even before this she has some mobility problems and sometimes has to rely on a wheelchair. She lives with her daughter, and if they have to go somewhere where there is a lot of walking involved she has to bring her wheelchair. Now with this new medical problem she may have when she gets out of the hospital I don't know what she will need.

My sister-in-law may need some modifications. Such as to her car to equip a new wheelchair. I found out some information I want to give her. It is about NMEDA. NMEDA is a non-profit trade association.

NMEDA educates people on buying products from an NMEDA qualified dealer.  They do not sell anything. NMEDA is the only association that promotes safe driving and equipment for disabled people. They are non-profit and their members are required to adhere to the safety standards of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. NMEDA dealers (members) are the ones who sell handicap vans and vehicle modifications for disabled people.

NMEDA has has Dealers AND Quality Assurance Program (QAP) dealers. The Quality Assurance Program (QAP) is the only nationally recognized accreditation program for the Adaptive Mobility Equipment Industry. It is based on the principle that in order to satisfy customers consistently, companies must have a systematic and documented approach to quality.

Being a caregiver is hard. But with an NMEDA qualified dealer there to assist you it can get the elderly and disabled back on the road to independence. Go to their website and plug in your zip code into the locator, to find a qualified dealer near you!

WW #109 "Picture Day"

My daughter's dance recital is coming up. Sunday was "Picture Day" where they take a group photo of each class and then individual photos. This is her outfit. Some of the other kids in her class had the same outfit but in different colors - red, blue and orange are the colors.

You think it would be easy getting ready for this. But a lot of drama goes into this every year. Now I have to go through this again for rehearsal and for the recital. We may do something different with her hair. I'm sure I'll have more pictures then♥

Just think of all these important documents, it obviously could be a problem if you lost them. What if you lost your passport, or an important contract? Or your hard-drive could crash or your laptop gets stolen, then you could lose really important data. Many people at some point, will experience loss of important documents due to hard-drive failure, fire, theft or just forgetfulness.

Well that is where iSigned comes in.  With iSigned you get military-grade security, secure sharing and unique management features. Some of these features are each document uploaded can only be viewed by you and the person that you specifically share it with. As in other parties in a commercial agreement. Another cool feature is if a document has an expiration date then iSigned will warn you about the pending date, with plenty of time to take action.

iSigned is designed for individual users and businesses. Individuals get unlimited storage from only $0.26 per day ($7.95 per month. Businesses get extra features like fine-grained user permission controls and detailed reporting. Business users cost $14.95 per month (minimum 2 users). Betty Crocker Mississippi Mud Supreme Bars Review & Giveaway - CLOSED

I received Betty Crocker Mississippi Mud Supreme Bars from MyBlogSpark to review and offer in a giveaway.

Here is some information about the product:

Get ready to wow them with new Betty Crocker Mississippi Mud Supreme Bars - a decadent, down-south dessert that nobody will believe came from a box!

With layers of chocolate cookie crumbs sprinkled over mini marshmallows in a chewy chocolate center and a crunchy chocolate cookie crust, this brand new recipe is sure to impress friends and family. Betty Crocker Mississippi Mud Supreme Bars provide an out-of-the-box flavor, with in-the-box convenience. You don´t have to go to Mississippi to snag the mix for these delicious bars; Betty Crocker makes it easy to make a tasty treat anytime, anywhere.

My take on the product:

The Betty Crocker Mississipi Mud Supreme Bars were fun to make. They were fairly easy to make too. Besides the mix, you need 3 tsp. water, 1/2 a stick of butter for the crust and a 1/2 a stick of butter to add to the mix and 1 egg. You make a chocolate crumb crust for the bottom, put the bar mix on top of that, and then put more of the crust on top.

They came out delicious! And are so chocolaty, and the mini marshmallows add a nice surprise too. My son especially liked them.

Win it: One lucky reader will win a "Delicious Dessert" prize pack that includes a box of the new Betty Crocker Mississippi Mud Supreme Bars and an 8x8 metal baking pan. (pictured below)

Camera Critters! #21

I mentioned before I got a new kitty. We got her on Mother's Day. Her name is Pepper. She is playful, but also seems to sleep a lot. She is now 11 weeks old, so I guess that's normal. Such is the life of a kitten.

I just spent over 2 hrs at Petco with her, to get her first set of shots. Worth it I guess because it saves a lot of money. Here is a couple more pics of her:

Aloha Friday

Photobucket

An Island Life hosts this meme. Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

I found out the other day that one of my favorite shows is being canceled. Ghost Whisperer! I'm pretty bummed. That is one of my favorite shows. I found an online petition to help keep the show on the air. If you're a fan of Ghost Whisperer go here to sign the petition: http://tvseriesfinale.com/tv-show/ghost-whisperer-petition/

I'm such a geek like that. If a show I like gets canceled - In the past - I have called, emailed, signed online petitions, and even written snail mail to keep a show on the air.

My question: Any shows you like being canceled? Any shows in the past? Have you ever done anything to try to 'save' the show? Is it just me - am I a geek?

I feel like I should be positive on this blog all the time. Right now I don't feel to positive though. Sorry to get depressing but I feel somewhat sad right now - because I may have to move soon. I don't really want to get into it I guess. But needed to express that. Thanks for reading.
