An Island Life hosts this meme. Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
My question: Have you or your kids been to a Haunted House? Do you or your kids like Haunted Houses?
My answer: I used to like Haunted Houses when I was younger. My kids not so much. About 5 years ago, my sister talked me into taking them to one. My daughter didn't even make it past the entrance, and my son only made it about half way through it. That was our last attempt at a Haunted House.

Hi! No we haven't just the Haunted Mansion! I always wanted to go though but could never get any one to go with me!!
My daughter likes them. Both of my kids are kind of old for them though.

In our old neighborhood one of the childless couples would put on a darling "haunted house" for the little ones. It was totally not scary & had things like Winnie the Pooh carving a pumpkin. Then they gave the kids toys. They were awesome until they had their own kids. Then they became just one of the crowd.
That's the only kind that my kids have been to although my son would probably enjoy one now that he's older (12).
I love haunted houses but my kids are still to little to go! I will probably take them when they get older though!
My little one is too little for haunted houses right now. I used to love haunted houses, but don't know if I would like them now.
No we do not. My son HATES them. They freak him out.

I don't really care for Haunted Houses. When I was in high school someone grabbed my foot in one and scared the crap outta me and got kicked in the head. Brad my oldest might like them. My husband would too.
We took the kids to one many, many years ago. But just once. They got too scared. When they became teenagers they started going to the bigger ones downtown. They love it. I don't like being scared in public.
I hate scary stuff!
